Air Jordan 6 DMP: A Brief Recap!
We all know how Michael Jordan set the bar high for everyone on the basketball court and off it. That’s why many Jordan colorways are a tribute to a certain milestone in MJ’s career. Air Jordan 6 DMP is no different!
This particular colorway honors MJ’s double three-peats! To those of you not familiar with the term, a three-peat is winning a championship three times in a row. Jordan and the Bulls didn’t settle for once, they did it twice in 1991 and 1996!
In January 2006, Air Jordan 6 DMP dropped along with an Air Jordan 11 in a pack. Needless to say, this pack resells for an average of $831 today!
Release Deets of Air Jordan 6 DMP 2020
Although the Air Jordan 6 isn’t as sexy or as hyped as the Air Jordan 1 or even the AJ4, it’s recently been under the spotlight. And we owe that to Travis Scott who took this silhouette out of the dark and into the light of the reselling market in 2019 with the Olive Green and the Yellow AJ6 which rumored to be Friends & Family!
True to its 2006 counterpart, the kicks feature a black nubuck upper with gold accents on the midsole and a golden Jumpman on the backheel and the tongue. Moreover, an icy translucent outsole completes the look and gives an air of luxury to it. Originally set to release in January 2020, the date changed to March 2020. Finally, due to Covid-19, the release is moving further back to April 11! What a roller coaster of dates. Here’s everything you need to know about the Air Jordan 6 DMP release:

Are You Gonna Cop?
Why not? Let’s think of it that way, the 2006 Air Jordan currently resells for an average of $385, that’s more than 2x the original retail price! And as we know, Jordan sneakers always gain value with time, so you could keep that Air Jordan 6 DMP and flip it later. Or you could always keep them for yourself and rock these kicks! But if you really want the sneakers to become yours, you must have AIO bot. On another note though, Air Max Day is in a couple of days, make sure you’re ready!
