Jordan 4 PSG: Who Knew French Wine Could Look So Good?
Bonjour, Jordan est à Paris! Yes, indeed we’re in Paris today. Maybe not physically, but we’re definitely ready to have some French croissants or sneakers. And the new Jordan 4 PSG is ready to take us on a French tour with the team! Jordan Brand is no stranger to team sneakers, but the football scene is definitely new territory. Let’s check out the collab history and the new Jordan 4 PSG!
About PSG and Jordan!
Paris Saint-Germain is a French soccer team founded in 1970. It’s located in Paris, and it competes in the top division of French football. Jordan Brand needs no introduction! It’s the brainchild of Nike and Michael Jordan. Fast forward to 2018, and bam! We got a surprising collaboration between the two well-known names. Jordan Brand dropped football kits that the team would wear on official games. And with that Jordan Brand crossed the line between basketball and football! That was much to Neymar Jr. delight. It’s worth noting that the Brazilian star has his own collaborative line with Jordan Brand!
Jordan x PSG 2020
Two years later and the collaboration between the two sports giants is booming. And in 2020, Jordan x PSG decided to go into the archives with the new collection. They took inspiration from the Parisian culture and the Jordan heritage! The bordeaux, or wine red, color is inspired by the AJ7, the first pair of to feature this colorway. The collection will include lifestyle garments like hoodies, sweatpants, and the new PSG third kit for 2020-2021. The highlight of this collection though is the new Jordan 4 PSG!
Jordan 4 PSG
The new Jordan 4 PSG will come in a similar colorway to the whole collection. It features a white leather upper, with wine red and black detailing on the midsole. The wine red heel tab features the Jordan x PSG branding. The word “Paname” appears on a tag on the side. Paname is actually the 20th-century nickname of Paris. So honestly, the Jordan 4 PSG is one fine pair of kicks!
