Nike Gives A Classic A Makeover: The Air Force 1 Paint Splatter

Nike’s Air Force 1 model released back in 1982 and is still to this day one of the most popular sneakers in the industry. This silhouette was originally designed by Bruce Kilgore and was the first-ever basketball shoe by Nike that features their famous Air-cushioning technology. The latest drop from the model is the Low Air Force 1 Paint Splatter. And we can’t deny it’s one of the cleanest versions we’ve seen in a while.

Artist Appreciation Shoe: The Air Force 1 Paint Splatter

Usually, most of Nike’s concepts are inspired by ready products. Recently, though, the Swoosh has been celebrating the artistic process of a shoe, instead. And we really appreciate the sportswear giant turning spotlights towards the art. In January, we witnessed the Nike Blazer Mid, that reminded us of a painter’s paint brush. And so, it seems that the Paint Splatter theme will be going further. Nike will continue with their playful designs with the release of a special Air Force 1 Low, next.

An Artsy Touch to a Favorite Old Classic

Light Bone, Black, and Sail colors dress the shoe. Bone covers the uppers in basic leather, while off-white arrives at the rubber soles of the shoe. On top of the neutral whole of the shoe, Black color hits the Swooshes on the sides. A pretty basic pair for the classic lovers, huh? In fact, the color-blocking of this Air Force 1 leaves out the highlight to the multi-colored paint splatter. Random splashes, droplets, and flecks of paint in blue, yellow, red, and black cover the entire shoe: the uppers, soles, Swooshes, and even the shoelaces.

There’s no official release date yet for this Air Force 1 Paint Splatter. But we do hope its soon enough so we can flex this exciting pair around Summertime. We expect a drop to go down in the upcoming weeks of April for a retail price of just $110.

Bulk-copping It Is!

A long-favoured model in an all-new makeover, the Nike Air Force 1 Paint Splatter is an absolute must-have. Even though we don’t expect the resale value of this pair to sky-rocket, but it sure will be an easy cop. What does that mean? It means that if you cop in bulk, you can easily turn that $100 per pair into a $1000 potential profit in ONE day. So, even with this one, you better get your bots ready and the best proxies and servers for your bulk copping. Make sure you check an AF1 sizing guide so you know how they fit if you’re planning on buying one yourself, and keep it locked here at ANB for all the latest sneaker releases, news, and teasers.
